Taking your favourite (and hated) media and giving it some analytical context, especially horror stuff... I like making horror stuff. You probably have some questions about the accent.

The Web Series & Creepypasta That Defined Analog Horror
I have to add one thing to the real world context you provided about the Foot-and-Mouth disease outbreak in the UK: Shaun of the Dead was an incredibly prophetic film now that the COVID19 pandemic has hit. At least from an American perspective, you can see the parallels in how various facets of society responded, reacted, and behaved during the pandemic.
"Kingdom of the Spiders" is, in my opinion, the best spider movie.
I recently watched this trilogy, and I enjoyed it overall. The first movie is easily the best and my favorite due to having amazing jump scares and keeping the history of the Abaddon Hotel a mystery. The two sequels were creepy in their own right, and I still enjoyed them.
The problem with audiences today is they want gore, sex, cursing, and constant action to stay focused. Nuances are lost on the 40 and unders.
After hearing your diatribe at the beginning of the Jurassic Park and Cpt America, I can unequivocally say your way off base with this Wolfman
This fiction is so good that i feel bad for Cheryl
Well sometimes people don't get happy ending so it's realistic in that at least.
I loved it!
I keep seeing people say this and I’m not sure I agree. Although it doesn’t really have any competition yet as far as disturbing movies coming out this year, I wouldn’t really say Stop Motion was a disturbing film either. This title might just be clickbait but Im honestly surprised Ryan thought it was disturbing. It was a good movie, but it was a lot tamer than I originally thought it was going to be.
They spelt Sheffield wrong in the film 😆
Nope. But it IS a blast to watch.
Thats some scp level shit
I had never felt a genuine need to see this movie. _HOYEVAR,_ after Ryan's review, I'll think I'll check it out somewhere.
*Personally I would say The Devil Inside is worse, because at least it had likable characters that you could invest in, but as you say there is literally no ending to the film. I know there was supposed to be a website that you could find out what happened but that site has long gone & it sucks that they sank to the level of making viewers go to a site to find out what they had paid money to see in theatres.*
That was...very dissapointing
Honestly, I'd love to see a binaural track for some blurays or something. I bet that would sound crazy.
I think a major reason why I enjoy horror so much despite having anxiety is that it's all in a controlled environment. I know full well that the things on screen can't hurt me. "Threads" doesn't have that same safety net, and that terrifies me, despite not having watched in full - and I'd prefer to keep it that way, because my existential dread about my future and my home country's future is already bad enough as it is.
*The American remake was abysmal. Mostly due to Jennifer Carpenter not being a good actress like at all.*
I had a small theory at the end that this story was inspired off of the King's game. That's why Brenda didn't die because she needed a new generation to live on through it. That's why Brenda was also seen in a picture in an older gen of the class
Yeah, you totally missed the mark on this. Read your comments so you have a better understanding of this movie.
For us who were under 10 during the 90s who didn't develop taste until early 2000s you had to watch it when you were a little boy
im not usually squeamish or sensitive to gore but when i saw this film in the cinema, i almost fainted and had to leave early lmao
I was thinking the shadowy figure behind her was The Unknown, from Willie’s Chocolate Experience.
I’d recommend all of Twin Peaks (including the movie) if you haven’t seen it! Starts off very soap opera ish and very rapidly descends into madness and supernatural/psychological horror after it does some world building.
Rebuttal isn’t a verb, it’s a noun
the face on the monitor gets closer every single time it cuts to him
Anything H.P. & yes, I already know everyone else's opinions of their fave H.P. based flix- how about where his influences come from? Many likes, - bb💙🎶💙🐈⬛🧷🎼🫧
What happened? A tenetatively done, but not too bad , L8vecraftian horror movie. With the presence of a book , supposedly made up, coming to life& taking on rites & showing sites of it's own, i do believe Lovecraft himself would have loved it. Very- well, covering all sorts of heathens from christian/Latin to buddha/ wicca to...etc whatever the sister could make up. & who does not love a book made up- OR IS IT ?????? I think Lovecraft would be happy with the effort- & I'm happy the filmmakers , though there should have been thanx given to ol' H.P. , did a lot with books& creepy old curses. O.K. , supposed to be found footage- but if found footage has anyone to thank, it's a demon's rising thanx to H.P. oh, & thanx for the 'shite' . I think I know now. But it would be unfair of me to guess. Never hide your heritage or change your accent for ANYONE. It's such a horrid dinner move. Thanx again! - bb💙🎶💙
Hi. I love your accent. If you don't mind, what country is that accent from? I'm a xenophile, born& raised in norCal where we have our own grab bag of wonderful accents . Trying to guess their home towns or cultures seems a bit presumptuous so i usually just like to politely ask. & fun ,spooky doc , by the way. Thanx -- bb 💙🎶💙
I love the fact that the only kid that Finney “saw” is the mischievous giggling one. They all helped him but that one kid made a performance out of it.
Tim's story continues briefly in b2 and it is a amazing film and b3 is worth the watch also
A 90s classic ❤
It was unusually good
"I'm not allowed to say Birdbox, I'm not allowed to say Birdbox, I'm not allowed to say Birdbox"
I think the little girl is a hallucination or representation of her stunted emotional development. Like the last time she had an original thought without the influence of her mother was as a little girl. Now that her mom’s gone, she’s kind of making up for lost time. That’s why her work has a childlike fascination with gore and edgelord stuff.
I agree with Ryan. Although the makeup and other practical effects were great, the script was just...silly at times. I'll give you one example. The younger hunter couldn't talk - but that shouldn't mean he has no way of communicating. Instead of just obeying orders, he could have *written notes* to the others -- or even, for crying out loud, just *mouthed* the words he couldn't speak! That's lazy screenwriting. So while I appreciated some aspects of the movie, I can't rave about it the way most fans of Lovecraftian horror do.
Eli Roth makes the best sit down and smoke a joint horror movies. I just wanna laugh and yell after a work week sometimes ya know?
Beautifully explained 💐💐💐💐 thank you
This film is easily one of my favorite films of all time
Shut up Ryan Harrison
I’m surprised you haven’t covered Hide and Seek yet on this channel. Robert Deniro and Dakota Fanning are fantastic in that.
This movie sucked bad
I don’t usually hate movies like very rarely but silent hill revelations was out of context I was crying the whole time cuz it was very bad
I am so glad you made a video about this film. Thank yoooooou! Fantasic film, truly stressful.
It’s the most innovative shooter game I’ve played in years. SUPERHOTSUPERHOT SUPERHOTSUPERHOT SUPERHOTSUPERHOT SUPERHOTSUPERHOT SUPERHOTSUPERHOT SUPERHOTSUPERHOT
It's not a horror movie, but your tangent into the evil behind the scenes of children's television makes me wonder how you feel about the brilliant Robin Williams/Ed Norton black comedy Death to Smoochy, which also predates the exposure of the horrors you mentioned.
Never even knew they made a sequel. I still prefer the first one. Also the cyber chase movie was neat.
Whats the segment at 5:10, the still says horror (2016) Ive been trying to look it up but cannot find anything on it
Please just speak normally. That vocal cadence gets a little irritating after awhile.
I’ll watch it for the stop motion, because God we don’t give it enough credit in America.
